Help decoding engine block & heads
Hi
have a engine block 350''
but need your expertise help decoding it
these are the marks
3970010
23 gm
3 b4 4
on eng block pad is these numbers stamped in
v0415tkt
t4f721582
heads are 3917291
i think they are 1967-68

Yes, I think that's right. The 3 that DZRick posted are all trucks.
Based on the 1974 dates, I would say this engine came from the 1st one,
a 74 1/2 ton 160 horsepower Reg cab pickup built at Flint, Michigan truck plant.
