It looks like a nice car, but it's hard to tell from the pictures whether all the little one year only parts are there.

Looks like a nice car, but 0 feedback seller scares me to death. No way I'd send money without seeing the seller and the car in 1 place. It might not be his car.

There has been a couple of threads listing 68 only parts. I'll see if I can find them for you.

I'm sure you noticed the radio is an aftermarket. The gauge bezel looks correct, just need to check that it wasn't chopped up to add the radio.

The shift plate which can't really be seen in those pictures is a 68 only item and not repo'd that I'm aware of.

The door panels, passenger side dash panel and e-brake console are also 68 only also.

I'm not sure about the seats (I think those might be leather) the standard vinyl seats were a basketweave which is what I've got.

I can send you pictures of most of the items after we identify them if you need them.

Bring your camera when u go to see it and take lots of pictures.

When you are talking about someone selling a car on ebay, 0 feedback has absolutely no relevance. This is a mistake a lot of people make.

We are not shopping for Beanie Babies here. Many people have never sold anything on ebay before. No crime in that. Then, they decide to sell their car. They see ebay is the best advertising buck on the planet. So, they post it on ebay. Hence, 0 feedback is very common on a car sale.

The vast majority of people with any substantial feedback on ebay who are selling cars got the feedback from selling other stuff. Has nothing to do with the seller's veracity in making a car sale. Don't be confused by this.

On the other hand, I'd never, ever buy a car without seeing it first, personally.

Not a good deal. The vette is an old mis-matched restorations. Added side pipes, not an option. Filler panel added from a 69. Motor is clear, but shows signs of a replacement parts. This falls under the catagory of numbers matching driver. Would think you could buy a driver BB for this kind of money.

Default It's not bad.......

If I wanted a chrome-bumper vette I'd bid about $8,000.00. That way it'd be a no-lose situation (assuming it's not rusty underneath).

It'd be a driver so I wouldn't worry about the single-year parts....

All of that may be so, but people who have never bought or sold on Ebay many times in my experience do not understand the process and make waves when the auction is over. I do not buy or sell with 0 feedback users unless they call and we talk. You can get a much better idea if a person is from this planet with a simple phone call. That is all I was trying to say. A person with some Ebay use under their belts, even 5 transactions, is usually in my experience, more realistic with the whole process.

I would never buy a vette without checking it out regardless of what their feedback is.
