Steering colum
On my 73 I don't think it has the correct steering colum. It would not surprise me since it was a project to begin with. The short story is I tried to hook up the coupler to the steering box. The colum will not move forward or back. It did not have the nuts or bolts connecting it to the bracket under the dash. It also sticks out quite far. Getting one would be out of the question since everyone wants $900+ for one. Would a camaro one fit from say a 72 or 73? I can pick up a tilt one for about $200

The Bad News: The Corvette C3 columns (1969-82) are unique. No other GM steering columns will bolt in.
The Good News: Any 1969 through 1976 Corvette column will bolt in. Any 1977 through 1982 Corvette column can be made to work in your 1973 with fairly minimal effort.
