first car, has quite a few interior glitches...the lower side plate of the center console, on the passenger side is all buggered up, the parking brake cover is black. non-stock shifter...I don't see the shoulder belts...and there are no pics under the hood....it needs a new upper dash pad, and the wiper over ride **** looks to be broken.

the big block, has a nicer interior, but the underside and engine appear to have been painted with a 2 inch brush....these are pretty different cars, 4 speed small block versus 3 speed big block...what exactly do you want?

I would take a closer look at the blue 1971. The seller should have some pictures of the engine and underside. No way would I even consider buying either without first looking at them in person. There may be a reason there are no pictures of engine and under the car.

The 1973 looks like the engine compartment and underside were detailed with a spray can. I'm not a big fan of the yellow.

I would pass on the 1973 and consider looking at the 1971. It seems kind of strange that the cars you are looking at are so different...one a small block 4-speed and the other a big block automatic.

Just looking to stay between 1971 and 1973 and under 17k, not tons to look at in that price range, the yellow is very close to me, as for the blue, if you go to the bottom of the page, past the video files, he has motor pics posted...I have found people to check both of them for me (local corvette club members)

Thanks

HI, nada1, it may seem like all the cars your asking opinoins on are being picked apart but dont let that get you down. i looked at over 500 cars on the internet and in person before finnaly buying another one. it may take some time to find the right one but it will be worth it in the long run. hang in there, the right one will come along, NUTSY.

on the blue car I see a little bit of bubbaization under the hood...rubber fuel lines, plastic filter...that big resistor on the firewall...not as bad as I was expecting.

I would think you could get a better on the blue car, and all of the things I have mentioned are not hard to fix.

Thanks:

On the blue car, the lighter area under the car, just past the headers on either side, is that some sort of patch or is that the way they came? Looks like some sort of heat insulation.

They don't come like that. Someone has added heat insulation.
