When I click on each member's public profiles, I can find out our birthday, our friends, and our activity, but no list of mods. We are asked for our mods when we fill out our profiles, but I don't see them. I like to see what a members car looks like and what mods he's made when I read and evaluate their comments in the forum. How do we see the list of mods.

I'm with you Bee Jay, but I'm guessing that a lot of members just aren't providing these details in their profiles. (I'm assuming I'm not the only one who can view my mods or my sig...) Further, when entering my own info, I found the space allowed for such elaboration to be quite limited.
I think I would need a few pages for the mods. The only thing left is the body and the engine block. I don't think I can remember all the mods. Most ofthe highlights are in my signature though. It would be a good idea to have a large page for this. It would be a good way to keep track of the mods done to your car. Kind of a biography of the car.

You've done a lot to your car, and it would be nice if we could put links to the mods in the profile without having to do a name and subject search. I would really like to read up on some of the guys cars here and not everyone has a web page like groovy. The signature space is limited, though I see you got a whole picture in there.

Years past, many members proudly listed their modifications in their signature areas. I have noticed that, through the years, fewer members bother with a signature.
Maybe you could start a trend with a mod signature........

I've noticed that some member's sigs show up every time, others seem to randomly appear, and still others hardly ever if at all. Don't know whether or when mine is visible, as I've never been able to see it other than on my own profile page. What gives?

Go to your "UserCP" look for "Edit Options" scroll down see "signature" you can turn it on or off by clicking the box.

Well, I do appreciate the tip, but the little box has been checked for a long time... Also, saw something the other day about setting an option to only show sig once per thread, but have no clue where that's supposed to be.

A lot of members choose to not see signatures, as many (most) are just tons of wasted space of pictures, mods, etc. Check the C5 and C6section for terrible uses of "mod" signatures.
I'd never get through any of the threads if I had to look at most people's excessive signatures. List them in your profile for people who want to see that stuff.
Been here for almost a decade now, anyone curious enough has found out by now that the list of mods to MY car fill about a inch thick of documents, then we get to the engineering drawings and other assorted crap.....
I have parts ranging from '68 to 94 or so on my car...and so many custom adaptations it takes a NYC phone directory to guide through them.....all you all got nothing for a idea how a bored old geek can mess with cars....
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
