Default stereo cables...best placement???

I just finished my dynamat/reflectix install in my '75 vert and am ready to strart putting things back together.....including my new stereo. I will have an amp and sub in the back. I was wondering how is the best way to run my RCA cables from the head unit back to the amp? Also, how should I run the power cable for the amp from the battery to the amp? I'm a visual learner......pics would be great!!

THANKS ALL!!!

I ran mine under the shifter bezel and the e-brake area, and then cut a small hole from there directly into the storage behind the seats

That is what I want to do with my sub. What size sub is that and how did you make the box to fit?

Thanks
Aaron

do not run your rca's next to your +/- wires..this can cause static in your line.

ground from the frame and battery and have a hott cut off for the amps...

Heres a thread about it all http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...-progress.html Pretty much had to build most of the box in the compartment itself. I would probably go with a 8" sub if i were to do it again, but i already had the 10" laying around.

I used the center bin in the rear to gather the extra wire, everywhere else I kept it tight to the surfaces and secured with tape. Worked out beautifully. As mentioned keep RCA's separate from power lines as much as possible. Check out the second post in the first link to get some shots.

Good luck, Steve
