OMG!!! This was the first car that popped into my head when I read the title of the thread. I actually MET this guy on the power tour in '98. He is/was an art teacher and did this to his Corvette because he wanted to. He said he had all the original parts for the car that were in good shape in his basement. I had nothing more to say to him after that.
