Welcome to Taxifornia. You think it is crazy here just wait because it is all coming to you in you neck of the woods. We could vote the jerks out of office except that over fifty percent of the population depend on the government for their substance and they want government expansion. With the current adminstration it is all coming at the rest of the country very fast. Ed
This is real BS!!! The damn legislators in Sacramento have their head up their a-- and can never pass a budget on time, but they can screw around with junk science to mess with "car colors." Big Brother has arrived, and he should be given a swift kick out of here,
Such stupidity would normally make me laugh, but when it comes from government it just makes one cringe.
There is so much wrong thinking here. Most of it has nothing to do with the "theory" but real life practice.
Most Californians will drive around in convertibles on pleasant days with their top up and AC blasting (doesnt make any difference what color their car is) Most here dont buy convertibles for the wind-in-the-hair experience but for status.
Is the next step to mandate that convertibles are not allowed by law to have AC?
Too funny... This green crap is really going too far these days. I especially hate that even if it has been proven that recently the ozone layer above Earth was the thickest ever measured in some part of the world (can't remember where exactly), the GREEN guys still want to push their idiotic ideas through. They've got the damn catalyzers already and most people don't drive big 454's around in their daily drivers anymore... Isn't that enough for the next 50 years to live with?
Ofcourse I must say that if we had such a nice climate here like you have in California, I'd probably paint my Vette yellow and enjoy driving throughout the year. Not sure about the Suburban though, black is best on it!
I'll be the first to say ;There should be a law that no convertibles be sold in California.
With the top down it creates to much drag /fuel consummation ,it's just not a very green car at all .If your true to yourself you California ding bats,go for it and we will have another reason to take the wall we're building and start building north along the state line .
