I have a 427 1968 hood, numbers are gone, but the holes are there. Would a pencil scratch-over of the holes be helpful? I could fax it to you. I am not sure of how to position the template on the hood, though. It would only give you the number spacing. Let me know.
I have the emblems on the site in the "forum special section" It's marked Forum Emblems 10 so if you enter the discount coupon you'll get the additional discount too.
However, the site crashed about 5 minutes ago and we don't know why.
UPDATE: My guy is working on the site right now filling a request for a log off button. . . It's up now.
The hood from the factory on 1968-1969 already had the holes in it when it arrive to the assembly plant so the AIM is not going to show the hole location.

This hood is the real thing with the factory holes and numbers. It was recently repainted back to Safari Yellow, actually last year and reinstalled. All done except exhaust. I`m actually waiting for a quote on stainless exhaust pipes from Mr. Wilcox if he ever gets around to read his E Mail...

Does that mean that my big block hood without holes is not a factory hood?
