Plug wires
I am currently replacing spark plug wires on my 1978 Pace Car. It only has 11,660 miles on it & really don't need them but it makes me feel better. My question is does anyone have any horror stories or advice on replacing them. So far, it has been a nightmare.

Do a search on "plug wires". There is a great thread describing methods of installing customized wires. It may save time and a lot of foul language!

I did my plugs and wires last year myself, 1st time ever and had no problems (and I am a total novice mechanic). One tip is to jack up front end and do the two front ones on either side from underneath. 2 rear one over the fender. Bought custom pre-fit (lenghtwise) plug wires for a 350. A couple of AutoZone wire spacers was the only other thing I needed. It was a piece a cake.
