Big Block and Small Block Frame differences?

Rumor has it that there was only 1 steel Corvette made every year by General Motors and tens of thousands of fake fiberglass replicas sold by some company called "Chevrolet" or something like that. They even came with fake documentation like "VIN numbers" and "build sheets". They weren't even built in Detroit.

I was reading a book last night about 1950s Chevrolets. It stated that in 1955, V8 Corvettes had the frame modified to clear the fuel pump. So there is a 6 cylinder frame and 8 cylinder frame for that year.
Not really a big block, small block issue though...

Well, on second thought maybe they did but they never put them into any cars. They're sitting next to the LS7's that never got released for Corvettes.

Early C3's with a manual tranny had a welded in Z-bar frame mount also. I think they went to the bolted on mount in 78.

I know some c3 frames are different than others, dont know what year frame was put in my 71 but I have issues with ends on the front of the frame..
