Considering Vintage Air. I have a BB with an M21, power steering, power breaks, power windows and considering adding air. Gets hot here in Austin. I also plan on switching my radiator out for an newer/more effective aluminum one.
So, anybody recommend Vintage Air or maybe no Air???

I used VA for my 72 SBC auto, very nice kit, everything fit, great instructions, excellent customer service during the install.
No idea about Vintage Air, but I just installed a Classic Air system in my 74. Perfect fit and uses the original controls. How good it works, no idea. It's 70* one day and snowing the next. Plus I don't have the car running yet.

Did you end up using vintage air? I am considering it and I am in Austin as well. If you did go VA I was wondering your opinion of it.
I used Vintage Air. Didn't use their direct fit kit because I wanted to use their controls instead of the originals. The Magnum IV evap. box, what I used, is almost the same as the direct fit though, and blows ice cold. Will freeze you out if the temps outside are in the 80's and your car is sealed up nicely. Even here in Florida it will keep you cool on 90+ degree days. MUCH better then stock.
Best part is getting rid of the heater box and losing the vacuum actuated doors.

I did the radiator upgrade part of your plan. Glad I did it. Now I never worry about overheating, even in 90 degree weather! Just paint it flat black, and 95% of people will never notice.
