I have a removable hardtop for my 69 vert and storage has been a problem since it has not been back on the car since I brought it home last August. I have it leaned against the wall in the garage and looking for something to get it up out of the way and protected.
Just wondering if anyone has this problem and if there is anything available. All I have found is a rack with casters but it still takes up space and could be easily damaged. Maybe some of you have addressed this issue, any ideas will be appreciated.
In my last house I rigged up a system to suspend it from the ceiling of the garage in an upside down position. This way there was no pressure on the rubber around the top. I wrapped it in a mover's quilt before I put it in it's cradle to protect it from dust and dirt. It was out of the way and since I never used it, I never had to worry about it until I moved.
No help here. I just lean it up against the wall with a rubber mat for cushioning underneath and against the wall. (Right underneath the Halloween decorations! )
