Today I was going to change the headlight switch with new one because my interior light doesn't work when you rotate the ****.
When I compare between the old/original switch to the new switch I saw that the old one have 8 contacts & the new have 7 contacts & they operate deferent. The harness plug can be connecting to the new switch.
All vendors sale 68-82, anyone had this or know where to buy the correct headlight switch for 68?
Thanks

I bought one from paragon for my 68 for the same reason you did and I had no problems with it...and it fixed my interior lights.
The harness plug has 8 contacts like the old switch and it fit to the new switch with 7 contacts, but they work deferent.
I saw in the pic' at CC that 63-67 headlight switch (#592026) has 8 contacts so I will try it.
I have early 68 so maybe it's a combo of 67+69 switch.

The 63-67 headlight switch will not have any vacuum control ports (right?) , so it will not fit your application.
I know, but I will try to move the vacuum control ports from the new
68-82 switch to the 63-67 switch.
Probably one more thing to add to the list of one year only 68 parts.
