side exhaust covers

Is there anyplace else to get side exhaust covers than Mid America. I put the Hooker side exhaust on my 81 and those pipes get hot. I love the ones at Mid America but 500.000 seems like a lot of money

I think I asked you once b4 Duke ..but the covers you use are great looking but do they protect you from the heat ..and also I couldnt find those particular ones on the web site ....

Yes, they protect from burns. You can put your hand on them after driving without getting burned. They are the ones from www.cobrastuff.com it is the only style they sell. You must have been looking on the Steelshields site.

Steelshields hands down. They're stainless and that's a real plus. Bangkok Dean did a fabulous job on custom ones for me. Take a look at the pics under my member profile. I had ones from cobrastuff and gave them away.
