With my '70 I slid the seats all the way forward and the bolts were easily accessible with a socket and extension. I think the '72's are the same.

Boy, do I feel stupid. It's a senior moment I guess. I've had the car for about seven years and never moved the seat. I don't remember much about the new 1964 vette I had. Many thanks.
