1981 corvette... hood misalignment
i have a 1981 that i'm trying to sell... one issue i have with it is that the hood alignment is a little bit off.... and has caused a few small cracks in the paint around the hood...
i'm curious to how complicated this is to fix.. anything that i can make better on the car would make for an easier sell.
anyone done this? or know of a 'how to'

Have a look at your hood latches, make sure they are not pulling the hood to one side when they start to close. You can loosen the latch and the hinge bolt if you see it pull to one side.

Loosen the hinge bolts and move the hood to center it in the fender opening. Make one of the 2 bolts loose and the other somewhat tight so when you move the hood it will stay there until you tighten them. Don't close the hood all the way until you are satified with the fit side to side. Nice loooking Vette, CB radio and a 4 speed.
