Yeah, Dustup, your story kinda scares me, but I"m thinking the gray or black spokes would really look sweet on mine. Right now mine looks bone stock, but I"ve always thought that for my car, aftermarket wheels = sidepipes and a L-88 hood. I think I would like that look even better than what I have now.

Dustup's story also concerned me with Coys, that's why I called for the order and specifically discussed delivery times and "what I'd heard". They were cool, saying there were a couple ahead of me, but in the end the rims arrived exactly 7 days from the date of the afternoon order day.
The only glitch was that they did not include the inflating stems for the flush mount valve stems. They did over-night them at no additional cost.
Mine is a Black Vert. I want some thing that will wake it up a bit. No a big fan of the stock wheels.
Custom wheels will surely wake the car up a bit. There is lots to consider when choosing wheels. High on the list would be the budget and right there with it is what diameter. After that you need to decide what "look" you're after. Do you want something more traditional or something trendy. Keep in mind if you go with something trendy they start to look "dated" real quick. You really can't go wrong with a five spoke wheel or a racing style wheel. Go to the custom wheel sites and look at the galleries. Budnik, Intro, Bonspeed, American Racing, Vintage Wheel Works, Team III, all have websites that you can browse and get some ideas. Search the forum there are lots of threads showing custom wheels. Here's a thread on "Minilites" a race style wheel to get you started. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...ini-lites.html . After you narrow down what you like if you want opinions ( and there are a lot of them here ) start a new thread for additional help. Just keep in mind that wheels/tires are just about the easiest way to change the entire "look" of any car.
