Somehow I'm not getting it. Don't you only need one input and 2 outputs, total 3? Or are you saying that the flow in AND out of the heater core go through the bypass valve. If so why go through the valve again after the heater core?
Here is a simple diagram I just drew, that I hope shows how the valve basically works.
I took my car on a trip and it had a huge amount of heat in the cabin. I just fixed the AC when I got home and now it feels so much cooler inside. I guess I should have read this first.
