fuel pump issue
good morning all.i have a 73 with a L-82 in it.i have put everything back together and am ready to start.problem i have is no fuel past the in line filter before the carb.i thought maybe the pump.i replaced it and still no fuel past the filter.i can see fuel in the filter.this car has a new tank and sending unit.i made sure there was enough fuel to submerge the sending unit.line were blown thru prior to installing fuel hose.so has anyone ever heard of the rod pushing the pumps arm to wear down enough to cause this kind of problem?i never have.but i am at a loss as to why i am haveing this issue.thanks for any help.

did you turn the engine over and check out the rod for movement i just did mine I pulled Number 1 plug out brought it up to tdc the rod was all the way up then I turned it 180 diff it came down . I then fought the dirty bast@#@ well you know .I still have a one drop per month leak welll two beers.How much gas is in the tank????
