Default Looking for some wiring help/advice

Hey Guys,

I have started to work on cleaning up the wiring harness. Here is the 1st of what I am sure are many questions.

I unraveled the covering and found the following:

I am going to upgrade the wiring from the starter to the alternator since I upgrade the SI stock alt to a CS144 alt.

Is there any problem with the plan below?

I think some of those splices are the in line fused links and you do not want to be with out some kind of overload protection.

Looking at your top drawing, counting the the slice points l-r as 1-4, the segment between point one and point two would be a fusible link. The segment off splice 3 feeding the fusebox is another fusible link.

I just rewired all this on mine but keeping stock alternator for now so keep factory config.
