Default Value of '72 Distributor

Just switched to HEI and am thinking of selling the distributor that came with the car. It worked fine, but wanted a bit more power and consistency. My question is whether it is worth anything. And before the "keep it original" posts begin, this is not a show car and I would need about $5K in parts to get back to original. Thanks in advance!

the only thing anybody wants is the shaft...with the tag on it....~100 bucks to the guy who wants the date on that tag.

Thanks, I will photograph it. How do you read the date?

Don't worry about deciphering it...just copy what is on it....I don't recall off the top of my head, but google will tell you how.

I'd just keep it. The next owner may want it. The $100 you may get will not make or break much of anything. It will cost him way more to get it back.
