First thing I like to do is go through the entire suspension. Bushings, shocks, brakes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, exhaust, etc.......make it ride nice & safe. Drain all the fluids and replace all the leaky seals.
Then I start on the engine, replacing or reparing what`s needed.
Save the cosmetics for last.
Also, the 255-60x15 tires give it a nice wide stance look. I have no clearance problems. But then my Corvette is all stock & original.
Have fun, take your time, and enjoy it.
the cops like giving me tickets lol. now when im riding in the C3 they throw the thumbs up not point to the curb.
i know what you mean! that wrx is a cop magnet. the c3 moslty just gets props and they know that in general classic car drivers tend to want to baby their cars and just cruise in 'em, not beat them up around the freeway!
