Now the dash vents dont stay in and I don't know how to get the light **** assembly back in and right, it just floats? what holds the **** in and stuff and keeps it solid?? dash vents fit but they dont stay, should i drill hols and screw them??? any one else put a new dash in and have any tricks or suggestions?? Thanks alot

I’m lost again and confused?

The dash vents do not attach to the dash pad, they attach to the vent housing behind the pad and this screws to the pad????????

The headlamp switch **** is held in place by the switch itself! When you remove the **** you have to push inward on the button on the bottom of the switch to get the **** to release. Sometimes older switches will stick and the solution is to flick the button a few times until it catches the ****.

yes i tried to get them in but they weren't right then i realized i was missing the vent housing i have them now and have it figured out but the vents dont sit tight on the housing. any reason for that? or does the dash it'sself hold them in, i can get the vents and the headlight switch in the car but got the heads up about the washer switch after the dash was in, any tricks or concerns i should be worried about because the there is no way i'm taking that dash back out i have most of it figured out and apoligize(to willcox) for being such a pain but this is my dream car and it has to be perfect and my patience problem and the car parts don't mix. again i apoligize and really appretiate all the help you guys really are awesome and have great customer service put the orders get messed up alot lately so i would get on your drop shippers and everything would be spot on, i'm calling in another order tomorrow so again thanks for the help and patience with my vette rage........

The vent sits in the duct housing and is pinched by the dash pad but only slightly. The vent should pivot pretty much freely when installed in against the dash pad.

i can get the vents and the headlight switch in the car but got the heads up about the washer switch after the dash was in,

I’m not sure what you mean by this. Did you try flipping the button on the back of the switch?

any tricks or concerns i should be worried about because the there is no way i'm taking that dash back out i have most of it figured out and apoligize(to willcox) for being such a pain

No problem! Your not a pain and I’m sure you’ll figure it out. Do you have the CD AIM. Twice there have been problems associated with parts not being in the right place and the AIM shows pretty much how this dash pad goes in.

but this is my dream car and it has to be perfect and my patience problem and the car parts don't mix.

One thing you’ll always need is to have is patience when working with these cars, but the best thing is knowing when to walk away and have a good drink! In the end you will have your dream car!

again i apoligize and really appretiate all the help you guys really are awesome and have great customer service put the orders get messed up alot lately so i would get on your drop shippers and everything would be spot on,

Most of our products ship from us, but when we do have a drop shipment and there is a problem just shoot me an email to the customer service email address if my guys can’t fix it for you quickly! If there is a problem and it is not taken care of immediately then I need to be involved! I can apply pressure in the right places!

i'm calling in another order tomorrow so again thanks for the help and patience with my vette rage. .......

Rage? No way! This is not rage! You should do this for a living! Norm, Tommy and Tony, Victor and the rest of the guys will take care of you.

Thank you for the repeated orders!
