Custom shift ball
Anyone know where can I find a black shift ball, with a yellow 4 spd pattern? 71 stingray. (Reverse in upper left)
(it would really make the little lady very happy)
Thanks in advance

Might try this place. Looks like they can do just about anything.

I could be TOTALLY wrong but I think I remember reading somewhere that there is a little screw or something holding it on...

The ball unscrews counter-clockwise - you can buy replacement ***** from corvette venders such as Eckler's, Mid America, Corvette Central, Corvette America to name a few. I replaced the white plastic cue ball for a chrome one and I also have what is called "Black Chrome" which I think I will install this weekend just to see what it looks like.
I'm not sure what year C3's actually had the shift pattern on the ball, possibly up to 77? The console changed 78 through 82 and the shift pattern is laid out to the right of the shifter on the panel.

Depending on the year, there might be a jam nut underneath.

C3's have the shift pattern on the console, not on the ball...
