Newbie Intro
I just wanted to say hi and that I'm so happy that I found this forum. I just got my '75 on Sunday and I'm just thrilled. I have never owned a vette, but have wanted one since I was a little girl. My husband got tired of me trying to drive his old cars, so he got me something for my own. It is a trainwreck but I'll figure I'll learn alot! Engine runs ok, everything works mechanically so far excluding brakes (there are none), headlights (of course) and a fuel leak (think we found it.) Everything else is beat up bad. I gutted the interior over the last two nights so that is where I will start. Maybe I will post some pics sometime. Anyways just wanted to introduce myself and I love all of the amazing pics you guys have!
Hey Miss "I can read" there is a new member intro section. I'm blonde, but jeeeeeez
Dont forget to post pics during the restoration . You will find lots of very valuable information on this forum that will make your work easier and a lot more fun ...

When i got my 75 the calipers were shot on the front .
I took them and the old rubber lines off ,took my old calipers in an old big drill box wrapped up ,the guy at the Autozone was impressed.Anyway Most part stores have A lifetime warranty and they have the delco brand so it looks original. and if you want to re-build what ya got thats also A possibility I like the Idea Off lifetime warranty and it will get you on the road, (at least for A test Drive)hows your bumpers?
