Default Please help me identify this part

I have a part and am not sure what it is or where it goes.

I have a 78 and I'm not even sure it's for my car.

The pictures aren't the best quality, but Hopefully someone will recognize the part.

If it helps, the number on the circuit board is 6432351A

Any and all help is appreciated.

That what it is.My 80 has one and I'm pretty sure the 78 does. Its located in the top right of your center gauges.

Thank you all for the answers. Now the next question. Would anyone happen to have a picture of how this is installed? I have the AIM and I went through it 3 times last night and It doesn't have any diagrams of it.

Thanks again,

Jeff

Thanks again,

You have to remove your center gauge bezel,There are 4 screws(2 @ the top & 1 on each side) & 2 little nuts on each side @ the bottom of the bezel. To get to the 2 nuts remove the center console covers on each side. you should be able install it with no problems & like aremar2 said install it with the Stright side in of the circuit board.

Thank you all for the help. My Center Gagues are out, so I don't have to remove anything to install this part. I looked close at the part and my gauges after my last post. It took about 30 seconds of analysis to realize I had asked my question before even looking at the part closely. I was able to get the part back on and it looks just like the picture posted by Dwncchs.

Thank you all for your great help.

This forum has always been my best and most reliable resource!

Have a great holiday weekend all! and pop a few

You all diserver them.

I've seen that circuit board on eBay some weeks ago that the seller had for around $200, so take good care of that board! I haven't seen any new or replacement boards for sale anywhere else.

you can often get that part (along with others) if you buy a "complete" gauge assembly. many times the seller doesn't know to try to break the parts down individually (or doesn't care to). either way, they can be had many times for less than the $200 quoted above.
