Does anyone have any experience with increasing the height of the center bulge of a C3 L-88 hood................... say by 2 -3 inches......as in making it tall enough to accommodate a Ram Jet ZL-1 engine? Any advice / suggestions?

Thanks,
Rex

This link mentions shortening the plenum runner legs.

Has anyone here done this, and if so, can you provide some details? Does anyone know this guy and how I might contact him? Dennis & Cindy Manire of the 63-67 Sting Ray Registry

Thanks,
Rex

..... I do.... I also hold a Masters in Criminology .... had same response to the 502 Ram Jet thread I responded to from another 'helpful' poster a few weeks ago.... (the latter started a very informative 'new' discussion that provided me and others) with very valuable information that assisted me greatly (and perhaps others)... There is no time limit on information, nor should there be.... If 'old posts' are not to be responded to, I suggest the 'forum police' download a program to automaticly delete them so persons like yourself can move on with your lives....
"Jesus loves you but I dont have to".... ha ha ... happy motoring man !.....

Oh no! Another forum member who replied to a thread that is over 45 days old contrary to arcane forum rules. Shame on you. But I doubt you'll get a PM from the mods pointing out the error of your ways and putting you on notice that a further infraction will incur posting privileges being revoked. It seems I'm the only one that gets called on the carpet for a first offense. Cause some SOB decided to squeal on me.

Relax, buddy. Just pointing it out. Sometimes people do searches and don't notice how old the thread is and there is no hope of a response because the members may be no longer active. Congrats on your masters.
