DynaMat,Reflectix,or both

I have both noise and heat (big time) issues to resolve.
If both which one is installed first?
TIA

WB

I did buy the reflectix already, it doesn't have an adhesive backing, so I'm guessing the Dynamat would be best installed under it? I hate doing things twice!

BTW, there are some alternatives to dynamat out there that may be a little cheaper and some claim not to have the asphalt smell associated with them. One I can remember right off the top of my head is Brown Bread. I think they even have some especially for heat blockage.

It does look nice! The Dynamat has a "smell" to it, and the others don't?I'd have to say the only place the thickness might be a problem would be under the gas pedal
(under the seat tracks too)

Are these products available in retail outlets, like Pep boy's etc.?
Yes, but very pricey (and not at Pep Boys, etc)! I ordered mine from ebay with free shipping. Only found the Dynamat locally at stereo installation outfits. For instance, a package of Dynaliner (under hood product) is $50 on ebay, including shipping. The EXACT same package is $149 at the local stereo install place!!! And thats whether they install it or you do it. Seriously, I spoke to them just a couple of days ago.
I did a lot of research on the various products (FatMat, Brown Bread, etc) and concluded that, though a bit more expensive, the Dynamat is probably the better product (my opinion). $200 (approx) will do the entire cockpit, with some to spare. I certainly did not want to do this twice (not practical) and not to mention, while the interior is out...well, its just not cost effective (again, my opinion) to try to save a few $$.
I dont think the smell is an issue.
From what I have read, the Dynamat does little, if anything, for heat. Reflectix (Home Depot, $15) is the way to go for heat.
Again, I dont think thickness is a problem either.
Hope this helps!!

The glue/hair residue comes right off by scraping with a single edge razor blade in a holder. I tried the grinder until I discovered the blade method.

I found a crimped wire cup brush on a mini grinder did a super quick job of removing the old "hair" from the interior.
