You prefer the stock look and that's great, but the original poster obviously wants an opinion on whether to buy 17 or 18 inch rims.

I say 17 in the front and 18 in the back.

If your looking to do a staggered fit you can get more wheel and tire under the rear fenders by going with 18s. If that's not the case 17s are much less expensive than 18s. As far as appearence it's a matter of personal preference. I think either 17s - 17s and 18s - 18s all look good depending on wheel choise. Check out the thread going on right now asking to post pictures of aftermarket wheels. There is lots of ideas there. Here's the link http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...-see-them.html

I think that looks odd unless your rear tires are 1" taller than your front tires.
If they arent taller, you have more sidewall showing on the front tires than the rear.
I prefer 17s but 18s are still nice.

The fronts are a bit smaller than the rears. They are 26.0 and the rears are 26.7 tall. The difference is the front are 255 45 17 and the rears are 275 40 18s so the profile is a little different.

Sidewall on the front is 4.5, the sidewall on the rear is 4.3

I have 17's all around but I think that it would have looked a little better if I would have put 18's on the rear and 17's on the front.

Just so you didnt misunderstand what I meant, I was speaking in general terms,
not specifically about your car. Your car definitely does not look odd.

No offense taken. Just explaining the sidewall difference.

wouldn't 18's require offset TA's ?????????
also, 17's on all corners allow you to rotate them.
