silver counsole trim

in my 78 the silver trim around the counsole is pretty much worn off...i don't know what to do im afraid to paint it but is that the only solution? and if so what do i use

I've had pretty good results with a Krylon silver leafing pen.
Available at arts and crafts places.
Kinda like a magic marker with silver paint. Not as bright as the chrome but looks pretty good.

yep wall mart sells a silver paint pen it works nice

Another possibility is remove the rest of it. No more touch up.

See if you can get some chrome vinyl from a sign shop. HEY WAIT!! I'm a sign shop.
I've been meaning to do mine. I'll be out of town till the first of next week but when I get back I'll try it. If it works I'll shoot some your way. Shoot me a PM so I don't forget. (i'm gettin old. that's my excuse.)
