Default '75 Vette: Removing the Dash

Ok, I've got the dash freed up, removed the left & right pillars that were on top of the dash but it just will not clear the frame that holds the front glass window in. Note: The center bezel is off, the left & right front dash are loose & do not seem to be in the way of the upper dash.

I can't slide the dash up since the frame angles inward so less space as you go upward. I can't go one side up first for the same reason that there is less space as you go up.

Suggestions?

You will have to bend the dash pad up in the middle then pull one side past the pillar. Be sure to warm it up with a heat gun or hair dryer. You can also do it on a hot day with it sitting in the sun. they are prone to cracking if you do it cold.

Sweet!
I removed the T-tops & allowed the car to sit outside in the sun which made the dash pretty hot (simulated heat gun). I did as instructed... holding down the corner while applying pressure upwards in the middle & voila it came out.
Thanks a lot guys!
I have to replace the dash since there is a whole in both speaker sections. Boy they are a pretty penny to get a new one. Hopefully when I get it, I'll be able to insert it without damaging it.
Well thanks again! U guys rock!
