Default Interior 90% complete and carpet problem fixed (pics.)

I have finally got the pass side carpet replaced, after I had a defective piece form Al Knoch. I took the pass side back out and returned it to Vette expo in Knoxville and Al Konch himself worked with it and tried to make it right, well I still had a problem after another install. I called them and they sent another one. Well I finally installed it today and put on severial other pieces. I have the right lower dash, a/c vents and the door panels left to install.

I am getting close to driving this thing, purchased Hagerty insurance and got tags issued to it. Hopefully I will get off my duff and finish it by summer so I can drive it.

Problem carpet had wrinkles where the trans. hump came up from floorboard.

Problem repaired.

Thanks for the comments.
Check your carpet, mine had jute glued to the carpet and the problem was the carpet had wrinkles before the jute was glued. No mater what I done I could not get them out. Al looked at the problem and was not happy about what his people let go out, he tried to take a heat gun and work the wrinkles out but it just streched the carpet more.
I installed new jute first after he tried to repair it but the wrinkles just came back.

You might want to check yours out and maybe take it out of the box and lay it out while you get it ready to install. I bought several things for my car and sat on them for a good while only to fiqure out it had a problem and was too late to do anything.

Good luck on your project.
