I have a '70 coupe 350/350 4 speed with a 03GS7AA code listed on

the tank sticker. I can't read the discription and can't find the code

listed anywhere. It is listed between code 03F62HS (front springs) and

code 03N37AA(t-tele) on the sticker. Does anyone know what this

code is?

What you are referring to is the ECL code on the Corvette Order Copy sheet. Here's an example from a late '70 Corvette Order Copy sheet from my archives. 03GS4AA, this is the code written next to the AXLE information, in this example it reads REAR AXLE 370 RATIO.

If the line is directly after the listing for "03F62HS FRONT SPRINGS", the code is most likely "03G32EA REAR SPRING".

That's typical for just about every 1970 Corvette built that year.

I found a G87 RPO. I also found a GS8 & GS9 but no GS7.

GS8 RATIO TRANSAXLE FINAL DRIVE 3.94 (USE OPTION FX1)
GS9 AXLE REAR 3.46 RATIO

G87 RING GEAR 8.50 INCH

the rear spring code is listed directly below the front spring, so how can this code be listed between the front spring and the first option?

this code is listed between the front springs and the rear springs. I originally stated it was between the front springs and tilt-tele opt. that was incorrect. do you think it could possibly be a typo?
