Default Floorjack..

Thinking about one of these high lift jacks http://www.mile-x.com/norco-71155b-floor-jack.aspx to go along with some very heavy duty 29" jackstands I already have.

Getting the car/s up more than 12/14 inches would be nice...

Find out where it's made. Some of the Norco stuff is imported. If this is one of the imports, I'd pass for that kind of money.

I have the cheap Harbor Freight version and I really like being able to lift the car high.

I noticed that the dual pumps in the jack are the vertical type. Sometimes these will not pump when the handle is very low. Generally to get the jack under a vette the handle ends up being in a low position until the jack starts to raise the frame and the handle can be raised more. Sometimes these vertical pump jacks are a real pain. JMO

JMO But if you raise the car too high you will start feeling the strain in your neck and upper back from having to reach and stretch. This does depend on what you are working on and this does come from a guy in his 40s not his 20s.

fyi i don't know if this will help you but about 3 weeks ago i bought a similar jack from kragen that came with 2 jackstands for something like 60 bucks! you already have the stands - i think they were selling the jack itself for like 30 bucks. now, i'm not sure how high it goes though....
