HELP, Off Idle Bog
My 81 recently developed a dead spot just off idle when I accelerate normally. It run fine after you accelerate past the dead spot or bog. It starts fine and runs well at speed. Any ideas on what could be causing this? The engine has new wires, plugs and cap.

Thanks, The accelerator pump is producing two nice streams of fuel. I'm checking into the idle mixture control now and it does seem way out of adjustment. I'm going to adj tonight and see if it runs better. I am surprised that there has been very little response to this question.

Good News, 
I adjusted the idle mixture valve according to the manual and that solved the problem. I've owned this car for 4 years now and it has never ran this well. Thank guys for your suggestions, I really appreciate it. Tim
