TruFlex bumpers

I have purchased new front and rear bumpers any installation advice.

I just had the paint/body shop put them on my '79, they did a lot of shaving and sanding to get them right. I bought mine from Davies Corvette in New Port Richey, FL and I believe they get them from Eckler's.

I just installed a truflex rear bumper on my 75'. I purchased mine from Willcox, and on they have some good information on their web sight dealing with installation. Mine turned out real well, I removed the old one and had a body shop paint and install the new part. They did have to add some fiberglass on one side to match the body.

They look like they will fit. I was able to get the original retaining hardware off. I just wundering if I should use it or the clips that I purchased from wilcox
