Default Can someone check this Vin? (please)

Hello,
I'm looking at a low mileage 79, and I was trying
to do some research to determine if its all original.

Here is part of the add.
1979, 100% matching numbers. Same owner for 30 yrs.,Automatic, factory loaded, glass t-tops, factory metalic brown, looks good and runs good. Spare never on the ground, could use new seat covers,

Thanks in advance,
Joe

I just want to know the basics:

Correct Color
Engine
Trans
Rear end
Interior Options
How many produced with these options?
Thanks,

You've got one too many digits in the VIN. Aside from confirming that the VIN is from a '79, giving the serial number and that this car was built with an L82 engine, no further decoding can be done.

Trim tag on driver door hinge post

Engine
VIN deriviative is stamped on the pad on the block at the front of the right head.

Trans
VIN deriviative is stamped on the trans.

Rear end
Date coded, but no VIN stamp. Probably original for a one owner car.

Interior Options...How many produced with these options?
