Default Vacuum Issues

Hello,

Today I got the heater core replaced and I am currently working on getting the A/C running and dash back in. The only A/C issues I have are with the vacuum system. When the new engine was put in (by previous owner) bubba removed emmisions equipment, jammed screw drivers and broke the handles to block the vacuum lines, and competely messed up the vacuum lines.

The Plan:
Take out all the vacuum lines and just put them where I need them, get rid of all the excess.

Will this in any way lower value or make the car less showable? (not giong for NCRS top flight on a 79 LOL)

Any way to pull the differential (leaky) without pulling the whole suspension?

Thanks Guys,
Michal

Yes. Differential can be removed without removing the trailing arms. First get the spare tire carrier out from under the car. Then the exhaust can either hang or be removed from the rear area of the catalytic converter. Rear spring need to be supported and then un-bolted from the trailing arms....CAREFULLY! Then lower your floor jack to release the tension. Then remove the four bolts that hold the spring to the differential, loosen each one a little bit at a time and then remove them and the HEAVY spring can be removed.
When you get to this point ,let me know and we can go further because you may need the lower shock mount removing tool to go further because side stepping this area is a pain and I do not do it that way because I have the tool in my shop.
