need electrical help
i was reinstalling my alternator after some upgrades and the red wire came out of the plug in the alternator and sparked up. now nothing works. my battery was tested and is fine. i have power at the starter but nothing else. does any one know what would blow out when this happens. if it is a fusible link then where would that be located. i checked the fuse panel and everything looks ok. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks. by the way its a 76 corvette. I replaced the fusible links at the starter already and still nothing. it did come back to life after i plugged the horn relay back in and then nothing again.

stabbing in the dark, but intermitten electricity sounds like a loose connection (or ground) somewhere... sounds like its time to get out your test light/volt meter and start at the battery and trace voltage through your system...
