Wheel ? - Quick Thoughts Please
This is the wheel design I want to use:
I'm flaring my rear aches slightly using this: http://www.corvettefever.com/techart...res/index.html so, will need a wider wheel on the rear as I'll have a little over an inch more space.
Ran across this auction on ebay (2nd photo above): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=330332406728 & talked with them...they'll swap out 2 of the wheels for 17"x9". Here are my questions:
1) What is correct backspace on 8" fronts (theirs is 4.50")?
2) What is correct backspace on 9" rears (theirs is 5")?
3)Their lip is 1-1/4" on both wheels but I don't know the lip of American Racing wheels....plus, American Racing's 9" wide wheel has a 6-3/4" backspace.....is that too much?
