USA-1 Tag Request
Does anyone know where I can find an original USA-1 tag that would have come from the factory on my 1970?
From my understanding it is the Gold lettered USA-1 stating "Putting you first ... keeps us first" at the bottom.
Is this the correct "Factory" USA-1 for the 1970 Corvette?
I understand the originals are pretty expensive.
Where could I find a remake to run on the car until I could locate an original?

The originals are fairly expensive. I have one for my 1971 model year. You should be able to acquire a genuine original plate over on the SuperCar Registry web site. It will probably run around $175 or $200.

I bought a USA1 tag for my Tahoe at Carlisle last year for $5 from the tag booth guy near the Concession building. They had several choices, maybe not exactly original. Do none of the catalogs have these? Maybe Paragon?

Thanks Guys, I really like the Red White and Blue ones better but I am pretty "Old School" so I would like to have the kind that came on the car. I think I will get a remake until I can justify coming off the hip for an original. Might be cheaper if I could find an original in rough shape and then have someone refurbish it. Normal cost on tags (to refurbish) in the past were around $50 I think.
