Got an old school (for a old school car) engine analyzer for the shop. Should come in real handy for the tune-ups. Found it in the back corner of an old time mechanic. Said he doesn't use it anymore as all the cars etc. he works on are the new stuff and this doesn't have the proper cables to make the connections to the new computerized vehicles. It hadn't been used in years and covered in dust. $100 and he helped load it into the truck.
Timing,Tach ,Dwell, Ocilliscope, Probably gas analizer,
Coil tester,Ammeter,voltmeter.
Been so long since I've used one I've forgotten half of what it can do

When I was 16, back in 1969, I was a gas jock at the Mobil Station. Buck eighty-five and hour. Del (owner/mechanic) let me hook up the scope for him. It was magic. I graduated to pulling heads off cars that needed the valves ground; Del did the reassembly.
