Default Name the nose C3

Hey Guys..haven't posted here in ages but you were the first people I thought to ask when I came across a pic of a corvette nose that I can't identify.
Does anyone know anything about this car/kit/nose?
Any help would be appreciated.

Motion sold a lot of those as a Maco kit, also Maco by Silva back in the 70's. It's a tilt-nose. Tough to find now.

I think mine is still in the closet. But for some reason it seems to have shrunk over the years

The nose is the Mako shark designed by John Silva,

The spelling was changed to Maco to avoid legal issues with GM,
Silva went in with Motion, selling them parts and built cars, Motion never made anything just farmed it all out, you will see cars like the Motion Phase cars with the Ecklers GT rear clip.

A Maco kit was modded and used on the famed Motion Moray.

Silva and motion had a falling out but what do you know Motion kept selling Maco parts and cars, seems somewhere Motion scored a mold...hum.

A few issues with the front clip are it was designed to fit 68-72 wiper door cars so you had to do mod work to the car or clip to fit 73-82
The peak of the front fenders is way higher but he also took the arch higher so the space between tire top and fender lip was wicked too big,
That has to be lowered or you look like the front is on air shocks,
I wont mention that the headlights in the grill are 50 state illegal and could set a person up for a sweet lawsuit if they are in a wreck where night visibilty comes in question.

The clip which was offered with a poorly designed rear Maco clip is hard to find even though many 100's were made, most people who have one hate it and want to return the car to stock a few love it,
I happen to love it, had one, got silly and sold it been looking for another, I will fix the problems and then pull a mold and offer the clip at a realistic price, I can imagine we will sell perhaps one every few years...lol

I would like to have molds for many of the old school custom parts not that there will be some big move to custom but for that once every few years someone wants it we will have it to offer,

So if have one for sale please do hit me up.

Also I have seen in parts catalogs many years back just a Maco nose piece being sold, they had one for mid years and one for c3's
