Transaction advice
I am purchasing a vehicle from CT that I have had inspected locally and it passed with flying colours.
This is not an ebay car, but a private sale on a car from Hemmings.
Since I am unable to personally show up to execute the transaction, what is the best way to get the seller his money and for me to get the car on the transport?
I am afraid to simply wire over his money and then voila, no car.
Can I attempt to get a local lawyer to hold the money and transfer the money to the seller when the title, bill of sale, keys and car are presented to him?
Any advice here?
I have bought 3 cars from ebay in the past with great results but I'm unsure of how to proceed without a net here.
