I think 12k would be good if it was running. would be better if it was not pace car paint, but, what u gonna do? I would make it work, and paint/change the horn button, then you could prolly see close to 12 as long as you are patient.
Get it painted, thats what I could do. Not worth it though.
aye, going back to original paint would cost more then you would see in return I think. I actually think it hurt it a little more being made to look like a pace car then if it had just been painted a diffrent color. But, with the mech issues fixed I think you can get 12k. Especially from someone that wants a nice C3, and is not concerned iwth having some speical edition future investment that they cant drive.
wrong seats and interior color for a pc as well
just be up front that it's painted like a pc and you should be ok.
might not want to mention it was an sa
i think painting it different mighta been some kinda sin (venial though.. not cardinal )
You are joking right? Way too many 78 & 79s around. $8k - $10k tops. It would take a car in very good shape to bring close to $12k
I agree. There are still so many around. they made upward of 50,000 vettes back in 1978, and in the late 90's they only made ~25,000/yr. even with 30 yrs worth of accidents and mods to cars, there could very well be more 1978 vettes out there than 1998's for example...
