little help
just bought a new set of torq thrust rims 17x8 what size tire should i put on. got 255 50 17 now but not sure if i should mount them i think i wanna go smaller in the front and bigger in the back any ideas car is a 77 4 speed manual with 383 or 373 gears i think

I would visit Tirerack.com and use their resources to find the tires that will fit on that wheel size. The same tire dimensions are not identical across all manufacturers. You will need to research this and then decide.
