Tried to do a search here and came up with nothing.......Does anyone know what ever happened to the three 427/390 Coupes given (leased?) to the Apollo 12 astronauts?

There was a recent (last 2 years or so) magazine article in one of the corvette magazines I subscribe to, "Corvette Fever", "Corvette Enthusiast" or "Corvette Magazine"about the NASA corvettes,even had a picture of all 3 cars together with the astronauts(Lovello, I think was one of their names)I'll check later on If I can find it.

There is a nice write up in the Austin Statesman dated August 30th 2008,
Stating the current owner had completely restored the car, Owners name was Danny Reed
I also saw the car at a local Austin car show about that time,
it appeared to be the real deal with 34,000 miles on it, and was Beans personal car. It is a nice write up.

Apollo 12 astronauts:
Commander - Pete Conrad
Command Module Pilot - Richard Gordon
Lunar Module Pilot - Alan Bean
Each of these Corvettes had special badges on the front fenders that identified the position of the astronaut. CDR, CMP, LMP were the designations.
