Windshield Slip
1/2 inch drop one side as previously listed (thanks for advice so far)
Given that resetting this windshield comes with some risk and being in Australia might pose some replacement problems, what is the view on leaving it where it is.
It has likely jammed up at this angle and not greatly noticeable, is it in a stressed position like this or just a common thing.

are you refering to the windscreen? 
a half inch drop is a big drop . i would try to re position it to the proper location. i see your concern with breaking it since your in AUSTRALIA. you will have to get a new windshield seal.
