Vortec intake manifold bolt torque

Vortec intake manifold bolt torque

Does anyone know what the torque is for the intake manifold bolts for a vortec? Also, what is the tightening sequence?

In my GM spec sheet for my vortec motor is says 11 ft lbs but doesn't give sequence. I would start by #1 cylinder move to #8 move to #7 and then #2

Snug all 8 bolts to 2 ft lb.{3 nm.} then second pass to 9 ft.lb.{12nm} LAST PASS TO 11 FT.LB {15nm} Sequence below O = bolt location

7 1 / 3 5
O O / O O

Front / Rear

O O / O O
8 4 / 2 6
